Dreaming about a destination wedding ?

Following your engagement, you and your partner may find yourselves dreaming of an extraordinary destination wedding in Croatia – a country of unparalleled beauty and timeless romance.

While the idea is exhilarating, it can also feel overwhelming as you navigate the myriads of choices and wonder, “Where do we begin?” This is where we step in. Our mission is to guide you seamlessly through the planning process, ensuring it is as effortless and enjoyable as the celebration itself. Allow us to outline the first essential steps, transforming your vision into a flawless, unforgettable wedding experience in one of Europe’s most enchanting destinations

We will manage your overall budget together, according to which your obligations will be divided into 5 important steps.

1. AGENCY DEPOSIT

after securing a date and selecting a venue, you are confirming our collaboration by paying a non refundable agency fee  deposit. Deposit will be % of a total agency fee

2. VENUE deposits

venue deposits are paid to secure all the venues selected for your wedding (ceremony, cocktail, dinner reception  & party), starting at 1000€, up to 3000€

3. VENDOR SELECTION

in order to secure the vendors you have chosen to be a part of your wedding day some of them require a retainer deposit

4. FINAL INVOICE

one month prior to the wedding day the client is obliged to pay their wedding in full (venues, vendors and agency)

5. PAYMENT ON SITE

any outstanding payments are due on a final meeting before the wedding.

Define Your Vision and Budget

Decide on the style, size, and atmosphere of your wedding while setting a realistic budget. Your vision will shape all decisions, from the venue to the guest experience. Establishing a total budget and discussing it jointly with your partner or any contributors is crucial since it will have a direct impact on the choice of the venues as well as other vendors.

Create a guest list

After setting your budget, start drafting a guest list of people you would like to invite. These two steps will be the corner stone for all other decisions – finding the perfect venue and selection of ideal vendors, not compromising the priorities and respecting the budget.

Set the date

Pick a wedding date that works both for you and your partner, keeping in mind any important family considerations or seasonal preferences.

Choose your destination wedding planner

Contact YES I DU (destination wedding planner in Dubrovnik, Croatia) and we will help you with choosing the best option for you for the wedding ceremony and reception. YES I DU will consider the capacity, location, cost and availability of each venue and work jointly with you in creating your perfect wedding day. Partnering with an experienced destination wedding planner who knows the area, vendors, and legal requirements will streamline the process and provide invaluable guidance.

Choose your vendors

After the main elements are set and contracts have been signed, we will recommend to you our most reliable partners for the wedding (accommodation, catering, florists, photography & videography, music etc.)  and help with negotiating the best deals for your destination wedding.

Management and accounting

After making sure timely deposits for all selected services have been made, YES I DU will keep a budget accessible at any time, keeping track of payments, remaining balances and making sure budget goals are reached. We always coordinate with our clients or their representative vendors payments to ensure a smooth and transparent process.

Wedding flair

Conceptualization and design planning is the next step. Based on our couples’ preferences, our design team prepares a first mood board presenting a global atmosphere, style and look for each event of your wedding. We will begin by creating a mood board & Pinterest board, and then aligning this with your personalized website and wedding invitations. Your wishes and ideas are what inspires us the most. To create the concept of the overall wedding flair, together we will go through: decoration and florals, cake design, wedding favors, additional ambiental decoration such as photo corners and sweet corners, cigar and gin bar etc. During the process we will present you with selections of linens, rentals, florals, selection of fabrics, different type of floorings, furniture, stationery and other printed elements.

Lights & Sound = Ambience & Atmosphere

Lighting and sound will guide the flow of the event and enhance atmosphere and ambience. Proper lighting helps photographers and videographers capture stunning moments, especially for indoor weddings or evening events. Clear sound ensures that any recorded moments, including vows or toasts, come through crisp and clear, creating lasting memories in your video. These elements are extremely important to create smooth transitions between segments on your wedding day and to elevate all the elements of the event.

Logistics

Creating a detailed wedding day timeline / schedule is a crucial element that ensures your wedding day runs smoothly. Proper logistics help manage the timing, coordination, and execution of each part of the event, from the wedding ceremony to the reception.

Many weddings take place in multiple locations. Having transportation arranged ensures that everyone can move seamlessly between these venues, and the couple doesn’t have to worry about getting from one location to another. By arranging transportation for the couple, bridal party, guests arrives at we make sure they reach their destinations on time.

Guest Management & concierge service. YES I DU team provides to our couples and their guests answers, recommendations, tips and contacts. Our wedding gift to you will be your valuable time.
