As Americans planning their wedding abroad, Maja and her team could not have made it easier. She was available any time through email or zoom to answer any questions and help us through our planning process, despite the time difference.
The 3 events that we had (welcome dinner, wedding, and day after beach club) exceeded my expectations. My guests are still raving about how it will probably be the best wedding they ever go to!
Maja made sure that everything went right, and I never once had to worry about anything or anyone. She also made sure that everything would be beautiful, I couldn’t believe how the venues turned out (photos attached).
Overall, Maja and her team made us feel so welcome and put together the absolute best days of our lives! She made planning a wedding from across the ocean so easy and enjoyable, we could not have had a better experience.
As an American couple planning a destination wedding from NYC, we interviewed several regional planners before selecting to work with Yes I Du. Maja was our planner and took such wonderful care of us over the 8-9 months of planning our multi-day wedding event. There are definitely some differences between the US wedding industry and Croatian industry, and it wouldn’t have been possible to have such a flawless event without Maja’s inside knowledge and expertise. The quality and care of all of the vendors was outstanding, we cannot overstate our appreciation. It was important to us to make our guests feel appreciated after traveling so far to be part of our wedding, and Maja’s team took care of everyone so well, and incorporated so many special personalized details. The culmination of everything was beyond our expectations and we will treasure the experience for the rest of our lives.
Maja and her team made our dream wedding come to life. Her knowledge and guidance put us at ease as we were planning a wedding from the UK in Croatia.
Maja answered any questions we had quickly and even accommodated a last minute catering request 4 days before the wedding which Maja sorted without any problems.
They day was perfect and all our family and friends commented how amazing the flow of the day was and that’s all down to Maja and her team.
Our experience with this company and all of their team has been nothing but 5* and more. From day one they have given themselves fully into our little ceremony, assisted us with finding the most perfect locations, and guided us every step of the way while actively listening to our requests/wishes and concerns. Our day was beyond perfect!

She kept us calm when needed and listened to everything we wanted which resulted in a fabulous day and amazing Party through to the early hours! I had the most amazing experience working with Maja and Martina, nothing was too much hassle. The whole planning process was so stress free as Maja knew exactly what i was envisioning for my big day. I flew out in May (got married in August) and Maja had arranged for a meal and wine tasting, hair and makeup trial, meeting the florist and visiting the venues which really put my mind at ease. The wedding day was flawless thanks to Martina who made sure i had nothing to worry about. I received my wedding video a couple of days ago and just watching it back highlighted how much hard work and thought this agency had put into it, Martina and Maja genuinely cared and wanted to make it the best day of our lives! Huge thank you to this agency for being so fabulous and making Dubrovnik our special place forever.

Thank you to Martina and her team for planning and coordinating our dream wedding! Every aspect of the wedding was wonderful – the venue at the Valamar Dubrovnik President Hotel, the band Živa Legenda, the DJ Petar Ipšić, the photographer Petar Jurica Photography, the food, flowers, decorations, and overall vibe and atmosphere. When someone chooses a wedding planner, you are choosing someone you will forever have a special bound with and to say we are so happy we chose Maja is an understatement.
Where do I even begin? Not only did we plan a destination wedding in the space of 9 months but a wedding that almost doubled in numbers.
Throughout those months Maja was so attentive and helpful picking up every detail I had hoped for and more. Even finding the amazing Pero to play classic guitar at the ceremony and sourcing the breathtaking port 22 as I wanted to be at sea level but looking out at the beautiful architecture Dubrovnik old town offers.
Then upon arrival to Croatia (2 days before the wedding) we met up with Maja where we needed to discuss potential bad weather. At that time we were thinking up all options of delivering the same wedding on the original wedding date.
But throughout the day Maja had received updates regarding this ‘bad weather’ and we needed to make a snap decision whether we would stick to the original date or bring it a day earlier as the weather was guaranteed then? (Which would of been less than 24hours later) So in our best interest we decided to move the wedding a day earlier. Maja worked through the night rearranging and organising everything.
What we received on that date was nothing short of MAGICAL from the detail in decor to the food and music. The photographers and videographers were the best, everywhere we looked they were there also thinking outside the box to achieve beautiful photos(which we cannot wait to see).The amazing vendors, all came together working all hours to give us our special day.
Everything was absolutely perfect! I honestly could not of hoped for more. My guests were blown away by it all from start to finish. It will truly be one of the best days of our lives.
Then again within 12 hours the heavens opened and absolutely flooded the old town of Dubrovnik along with thunderstorms. It was surreal. To be honest it made our day even more Magical when we witnessed what could have been.
So hand on heart to say Maja and Martina were our guardian angels is an understatement. We will be forever grateful to both of them. On top of that they gifted us with beautiful keepsakes!
Thank you girls so much for all you have done. I know anyone that chooses you will be given nothing but the best Dubrovnik can bring to their special day.
